I read Polar 411 is a direct replacement part for the originals. Post I read here.

May go with 1/2" or 3/4" Birch plywood from Home Depot to save costs instead of marine ply. Instead of having plywood pieces butt up against each other, I'm thinking to put in a scarf to make it stronger
Find welder to build new frame.
